Sting is the result of extensive research and development to make the ultimate environmental contract fabric from nettles. The common stinging nettle provides the innovative raw material fibre which is particularly strong and elastic, yet produces a soft, fine fibre. This sustainable fibre has an added bonus as it has an in-built fire retardant property. When blended with pure new wool, it creates an unrivalled fire retardant fabric which out performs 100% wool, wool blends and F.R. treated viscose.
